No need; we don't have to document our personal punctuation principles here. We've resolved this tbl man-page issue (pending Alex's input, but the proposed fix does address his initial objection) and that's what matters. Discussions on general style philosophies can wait till our next Punctuation Pedants meeting. (The flyer for it is being held up while a subcommittee debates whether the guest speaker should be billed as "Dr Walker" or "Dr. Walker".)
