"Subjective" and "emotional" aren't synonyms. Some of his points are indeed subjective (that is, based on opinion rather than fact), but they appear to me based on technical concerns rather than based on emotion. You are certainly welcome to give counterarguments to his points. Do you have a different interpretation of the prior discussions he mentions? Do you disagree about the level of importance of suggestions that haven't been discussed? Can you point out which warnings point to problems in groff documentation that should be addressed rather than design differences between the two projects? Dismissing Ingo's points as subjective or emotional isn't really addressing their substance.
