[Heirloom] How to embed images?

Encapsulated PostScript (.eps) images can be embedded using the 
-mpictures macros and the .BP/.EP or .PI macro calls.  The process is 
described in section 23, Picture Inclusion, of the Heirloom User's 
Manual.  dpost does the actual work.

Other image formats are not supported, but if the document is converted 
to PDF, the PDF converter will convert bitmapped EPS images to JPEG or 
TIFF as it deems appropriate.
