It is a point of view. You could also argue that we live in a time where the English language is so dominant and invasive that it is all the more important to give your own language a chance whenever you can. Certainly, for computer program interfaces I prefer my own language any time, provided the translation is decent. For documentation, I think I'd prefer it too. But in my experience, documentation if often translated in a slipshod way and you get the feeling that the translator was tired from the beginning by the sheer size of the task (often big) in front of him and just wanted to get it done with.
