A commit named 'man pages: Add "\&" after abbreviations periods' from Sunday the 17th June 2018 repeats some fixes that have already been reported and a patch provided in the bug #51328 (file #41057) from 27th June 2017.
Similar fixes with a patch are in the bug report #51312 from 25th June 2017. Instead of rediscovering bugs, wasting peoples time, it makes more sense to commit already provided patches. And thus lower the number of open bug reports. -- Bjarni I. Gislason
