It seems i have searched only for the + as a symbol, not as
a word.  Hm.

I think the attached should do so.  It looses many of Bernd's
changes since i've reverted his commit as a first step, but that
mostly affects the greek alphabet and i think adding an, e.g.,
"omicron" comment for "omicron" is not really a loss.  Then i've
checked against [2f4fdb0].
Note i haven't really read all that thorougly.  One future day
when i convert the manual to mdoc(7) i will.
