I would favor the latter.  However, someone should check whether
really all items in the file are obsolete – I guess that the -me entry
is still valid.  If so, it should be added to the bug tracker

:-) Again, someone should carefully check its contents, adding stuff
to the bug tracker if necessary or useful.
