pdfinfo isn't the only reason for -U; the macro, as is, also converts pdf images to eps for non-gropdf processing. This is a judgment call on my part. The macro could as easily reject pdfimages entirely when !'\\*[.T]'pdf' -- Peter Schaffter http://www.schaffter.ca
