As you say, for "plus minus" you can use "\[+-]", and this results in a symbols "±" consistiing of a "+" sign above a "-" sign. When you say 'I need "minus plus" as well as "plus minus", do you mean that you also need a symbol consisting of a "-" sign above a "+" sign?
