First, a gtex file is not independently compilable. It must be included
in a master document. Please review the first step of the tutorial for
and example of such a master document:

Also, if you're getting `\GregorioTeXAPIVersion{4.1.1}` in the gtex
file, then you're not using 5.0.1, you're using 4.1.1. Please check
your path settings and command invocation.
