Hi,

I'm new to this list and also to Tex and any related software. I
particularly turned to Tex because of gregorio. I want to be able to
create my own booklets for daily prayers etc., and I am very eager to
use gregorian style of writing the hymns and other things.

I have used "Illuminare" for some stuff, but it's not always properly
displaying the music (though it exports it correctly) and it's awkward
to save the source code I have created then. That would be easier with a
proper tool on my local PC.
As I use an Arch derivate (Manjaro) and love it, I may face some
problems, because it's not well supported by software developers. Most
packages are created by Arch users from other packages, and Yaourt is
the resource where I found gregorio. However, I do not know how to
include it with TexStudio. I found one message in this list which only
explains how to set the parameters for lualatex, but not how to
integrate gregorio, or how to make TexStudio to use gregorio. Is there a
manual somewhere? I was searching for quite a while, but didn't find
anything.
I would, BTW, like to convey my deepest gratitude to those who made this
available. It is a marvellous tool, even though I couldn't use it much
so far. As the user base is very small, this is a very selfless but
highly commendable effort, which I appreciate deeply.

Kind regards,

Martin
