Hello, First of all I am very new to the gPXE. I have a Windows 7 installation which I want to boot diskless. In order to test it before actually transferring it, I connected the Windows 7 drive to my server and configured the iSCSI target as: Target iqn.2009-07.98.10.168.192:iscsiboot Lun 0 Path=/dev/sdb1,Type=fileio
I tested it by connecting from another Windows computer, it can see the disk from the network. Later, I booted the system which I removed the drive with a gPXE floppy. I issued the following commands: dhcp net0 set keep-san 1 sanboot iscsi:192.168.10.98::::iqn.2009-07.98.10.168.192:iscsiboot I get the message Booting as expected but immidiately after it hangs with the error message: "A Disk Read Error Occured. Press CTRL+ALT+DEL to restart" What might be the problem? Thanks for your help. _______________________________________________ gPXE mailing list [email protected] http://etherboot.org/mailman/listinfo/gpxe
