could you simply try to re-install GPGServices stand-alone form: 
http://www.gpgtools.org/gpgservices/index.html

So you used the GPGTools Installer to get the setup done? If you didn't exclude 
it, then Macgpg2 should be running despite having macgpg1 installed. And that's 
not a problem.

Please let us know if that helps.
