The system's prompt to enter your Admin credentials (prior to actually using MacGPG2) could point at the possibility that when you have been presented with the pinentry window, you have also checked the 'Save in Keychain' check-box. Meaning that your passphrase has been saved (and written to your hard disk) in Apple's utility Keychain Access. I still don't know why 'atos' prompts you. I have made more searches, trying to find any kind of relationship between 'atos' (related to a developer account) and encryption, but couldn't find anything relevant.
