Hello, The Mail Archive archives the list s-nail-users at Sourceforge, thank you for this! I "moved" this list to my own server, and the address is now s-ma...@list.sdaoden.eu. This was announced on the list for a long time, and my initial plan was to leave the archivers alone and mass-subscribe all persons, so to say, to the other, new list. However this is not possible with Sourceforge's new policy, i no longer have access to the subscriber list. The only option thus seems to be to completely shutdown the old list. I.e., ask the Sourceforge staff to remove it at some time (it seems even removal is no longer possible).
Now my question. It would be really great if The Mail Archive would also archive the new list, but since the archives are identical i wonder whether it simply can be "transferred" instead of wasting those ressources for nothing? P.S.: until the old list is shut down it is subscribed to the new list, to which posting happens. Thank you, and ciao from Germany! --steffen | |Der Kragenbaer, The moon bear, |der holt sich munter he cheerfully and one by one |einen nach dem anderen runter wa.ks himself off |(By Robert Gernhardt) _______________________________________________ Gossip mailing list https://www.mail-archive.com/gossip@mail-archive.com https://www.mail-archive.com/cgi-bin/mailman/options/gossip
