There are 125 people on the gossip mailing list. If you can't figure out how to unsubscribe yourself, and need help from a human being, try [EMAIL PROTECTED] (as opposed to writing the entire list). On a related note, I don't know why we still occasionally get users from the various projects asking technical questions to gossip; I suspect somewhere somebody misdocumented something. I can't think of anything I can do to improve the situation from that perspective. Other events... Not much going on in the software side; I've upgraded to MHonArc 2.5.14 and am still figuring out the next move in spambot countermeasures. On the hardware side all is well, although I've been encouraged to "refactor" the main server's form factor from a tower to rackmount. Web usage stats are at http://www.mail-archive.com/stats.html and we ended 2002 with about 8.5 million page views in December. It's been really nice having lots of computational horsepower, and latency between receiving an email and archiving it has been usually just a few hours (remember when it took three days?).
