They are one month old Maxtor 160GB drives, under full warrenty. One
died with loud clicking sounds, the other I have no idea -- the RAID
reported a drive failure, but I haven't had a chance to physically
inspect the drive. The vender suspect damage during shipping.

$100 buys 1/2 megabit per second for a month + there is a cost
associated with taking up space (which the server takes up a lot
of). The actual logistics of billing are informal -- I basically make
sure bandwidth costs are covered, rather than going through a more
formal process. I think Mail-Archive averages just under half a megabit
per second, but we'll see.
