I'm firmly in both camps. :) I view HTML mail as a style-over-substance thing, and consider it a second class citizen to plaintext email at Mail-Archive. If HTML mail works, great, count your blessings. If it doesn't, too bad; I'm not interested in tracking down this problem. My suggested solution is for you to stop using Mail-Archive (and/or Calypso).
