There are 16 messages from 1996 in the audities@binhost raw email collection with, with three of those having duplicate timestamps. I did a spot check on one of those 1996 messages and did not see the corrosponding HTML page generated. Diagnosis: 1) I was wrong, wrong, wrong, earlier and the messages are sorting correctly into the MH folder [EMAIL PROTECTED] afer all. 2) MHonArc is not bothering to convert the imported messages into HTML pages since they are older than the current 3000 indexed messages. This is the first import I've tried since I imposed the 3000 message index limit, and is an unforseen consquence. Suggestions: 1) Ignore the duplicates. There aren't that many of them anyway. 2) Import the rest of your mail. Tell me when you are done. 3) I will rebuild all the audities html files from scratch when you are done. Tell me if you want the monthly indexing secret feature. (see http://mail-archive.com/linux-kernel@vger.rutgers.edu) and I'll make sure everything gets search indexed. 4) Then I'll adjust the FAQ to say: * importing messages is not allowed (you are grandfathered in) * picture attachments are not archived (I keep forgetting to add this) * only the most recent 3000 messages are thread indexed * search indexes are batch updated biweekly (sun, wed) Sorry for all the grief, I had no idea imports were broken.
