I've carbon copied this response to the appropriate mailing list,
since other might have similar questions.

Here's the choices:

1) Let there be two separate archives (i.e. ignore the problem)

2) Add X-Mailing-List so that new list mentions old list
see FAQ (downside: confusing to users)

3) Import old archives into new archives (see FAQ on importing)

The best option is #3 if you really care about having mail
in one archive. I happen to owe tcljava a big favor, and will
be happy to help make #3 happen if that is what is desired. (Normally
I try not to do any administrative work on the archives, unless it
involves fixing bugs in the service...)

Hello Jeff.

I hate to email you directly, but I am having a small problem
with a mailing list hosted on the mail-archive and I thought you might
be able to help. Feel free to flame me if I am barking up the wrong tree.

The mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] was set up on the mail-archive
service some time ago, but since then the provider for the list has
changed. It is now [EMAIL PROTECTED], and I was wondering how I
could update the mail-archive to reflect this. I thought I could
just create a new mailing list, but then it would not have all
the older messages that were posted to the old address. This seems
like the kind of thing that could happen to a lot of people, so
I thought I would aks if there was something that could be done.

Thanks
Mo DeJong
