Many lists that use the service, for example, have a policy that only subscribers may post to the list. There is no way that I can think of for mail-archive.com to automatically detect each list's posting policy and behave appropriately. My understanding is that Deja.com works with newsgroups, which in general have more standardized posting policies and mechanisms. Please correct me if I am wrong. Thanks, Jeff
