I'm able to reproduce this issue on following devices, both have Chrome 49: - Samsung Galaxy S4 (4.4.4) - OnePlus One (5.1.1)
Steps: 1. Navigate to a simple example on the phone (https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/examples/map-simple) 2. Zoom out several levels by pinching map Expected: Map working properly, tiles loading etc. Actual: New tiles dont load, page stops processing all input events except scrolling (tapping on links, tabs doesnt work). If you wait long enough, page will start working again but then zooming out will freeze it once more. Is this a known bug?
