Great extension, canvas is proving to be the way forward for performance, 
and many of us no longer care to support ie8. One question though, I'm 
wondering if you considered and/or testing the idea of making this 
extension with a single canvas layer and adding the labels to that , rather 
than creating many canvases, and what if any, were the performance 
implications.
