I've read through both the Terms and Conditions and the FAQ but think that
they both are a bit fuzzy on the subject (and I would like to be sure).

1. I recently launched a site which heavily utilizes the Google Maps API
(maps and street view) and the site is free to use and open to the public.
Now it has gotten a few request from companies that want to advertise on
the site (it will still be free and open to the public), is this in line
with the terms and conditions?

2. I've also received a few requests from companies that would like to have
a special version of the site to either use on their own site or as an
activity on a private event. In both these cases the site would be open to
the public (just launched on a url which no one but the company knows
about). Would it be in line with the terms and conditions if I charged the
companies for this and could I charge both for using my site as well as the
work hours for specializing it?

All help is very much appreciated since I would like to be sure before
acting on any of the opportunities.
