Yes, the issue is resolved. Turned out to be a software firewall issue. I had added an exception for the www2 subdomain but did not add it for the www subdomain after going live. I realized this after eventually pulling up the site on my phone and seeing it was working fine. I imagine the reason I wasn't able to find any information about the issue is that I am the only person dumb enough to be stumped by something so basic :/ Lessons learned: -the devil is in the details -it always helps to test and try to reproduce errors on another machine/browser/network I hope this thread helps another Darwin Award contestant!
