My employer relies on the Google Maps API and subscribes to that
service to help drive some of our customer facing websites and
internal tools.

Across the last 24 hours, Google changed some of the servers used to
deliver the mapping info we rely on and thus, inadvertently caused a
system outage for our tools. We were able to quickly source:
https://c.na4.visual.force.com/apex/ResourceDetail?id=a0Z60000000hXGe&sfdc.override=1
and update our firewall once the problem was fully diagnosed.

However, if we'd known ahead of time then we would have been able to
update our firewall to allow access to the new Google servers and,
hopefully, prevented the outage we suffered this morning.

So, that's the source of my question - does Google publish or maintain
a spot on the Web with their system changes/maintenance that we can
subscribe to or view?

Thanks in advance for any help provided.
