Hi Folks: We used Google Maps API V3 to help make a great land use planning database. We are also using cloud computing technologies that should be fully implemented this week. This will allow us to burst to the University's cloud and when we exceed our capacity, to the public cloud (Rackspace or Amazon elastic cloud -depending on which one is cheaper. We are also using open source OGC software. If you have a chance to look let us know what you think: http://landuseky.uky.edu/landusenrcs_V3/testing/mlra_121/.
I'm looking for more funding to keep this project alive ... otherwise I will have to let my programmer go at the end of April. In that case he will be looking for a job and I would highly recommend him.
