Hi Robert, There's no plan to migrate any of the content from Google Groups onto Stack Overflow. In fact, even if it was desirable it wouldn't be feasible. Stack Overflow is a community moderated site.
You can definitely continue discussing the API here, but please ask technical questions over on Stack Overflow. I've personally been focusing my efforts on answering questions over there.
