I was able to trigger an event using google.maps.event.trigger(marker,
'click') but only with markers. I tried this code for the map in general
using
google.maps.event.trigger(map, 'click) or
google.maps.event.trigger(document.getElementById("map"), 'click') but that
did not work. Do you know what the event that controls the initial click on
a map is?
