A valid reference to the API.

This (from that example):
//maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/js?sensor=false&libraries=places

won't work.  See the documentation:
http://code.google.com/apis/maps/documentation/javascript/tutorial.html#Loading_the_Maps_API
