If you've used the 'embed' from maps.google.com - ie its an '<iframe>'
loading the map from My Places / Custom Maps.

Then not easily.

You would have to make a map using the Google Maps API - it can load data
from Custom Maps, via KML. And you can make a search box using the Places
query autocomplete API and/or the Geocoder.

If however it is already an API map, then can just add those features to
your map.


Regardless, this is the group for  V2 of the Maps API. Its due to be turned
off in a little over a month, so you should definitely not be embarking on
using it!
