Google's new fascist-friendly policies
What do #Google's new fascist-friendly sideloading restrictions mean?
One example. You're a member of a marginalized, persecuted group. You
want to create an Android app to communicate securely with other
members of that cohort, without subjecting yourself to fascist
persecution. Under Google's new policy you will NOT be able to
distribute that Android app to ANYBODY without giving Google full
identity information about yourself, putting you at enormous potential
risk. This appears to bring Google into tighter alignment with Apple's
fascist-friendly policies of longstanding. It is disgraceful.
