Google businesses data has been hacked
Google has suffered a hack of a Salesforce instance, leaking data such
as business names and contact info, they say. While this would not be
"sensitive" data as such, it suggests to me (and maybe you) that this is
part of the overall deterioration of Google services (driven by layoffs,
resignations, lack of project funding resources, etc.) as the "AI is all
that matters!" attitude at Google continues to undermine the firm.
I'd also note that hacks of Google data have been historically very rare,
but it's hard to see how you can lay off so many people and shift so
much funding to AI from other projects without doing widespread damage
in many areas of your operations. This is likely only the beginning.
