Administrivia: Hashtags
Quick note. I have long stripped hashtags from my mailing list items when
they've been present due to the original text coming from another medium
(e.g. Mastodon) where hashtags are common.
I am no longer going to do this routinely. They don't hurt the emailed versions,
and in some cases will be useful to some readers.
I will normally not put hashtags on items that originated on these mailing
lists.
There will be random excursions from both of these policies from time to time.
