Those vertical lines are the gridlines for the horizontal axis (since they
correspond to values on the horizontal axis). So you can change the color
with, e.g.:
hAxis: { gridlines: { color: 'green' }}
If I am misunderstanding your question, please try again, and maybe post
example code.
