I would like to ask Dinesh D'Souza, applying the same rationalization he uses in viewing colonialism and the Holocaust as ultimately beneficial, whether he agrees that it follows that we should perceive Terrorism in the same light. Should we be "cheering" for Bin Laden because, as a result of his attack on the WTC and Pentagon, the Afghan people were liberated from the Taliban? And does he mean to imply that oppression is necessary, or to be dismissed offhand in the larger scheme of things, because it ultimately produces "beneficial effects" when the oppressed fight back?
