Hi Paul, I have had the same problem and have not had a chance to work on it. The problems may well be something to do with GNUStep. You would probably do better to work with gnuspeechsa-0.1.6 (0.1.5 has a significant bug that has been corrected recently -- Marcelo sent a note round about it).
