Hello, gpa is due to be removed from Debian/testing since it uses gtk2. gpa git has gtk3 conversion, so we could switch to GIT head. However I am not happy with shipping unreleased code in a Debian stable release. My impression from browsing dev.gnupg.org [1] [2] is that gpa is currently not alive and should not be used. I would therefore block gpa from being released with Debian trixie and in the longer term would drop the package from Debian/unstable too. Any comments on that?
TIA, cu Andreas [1] https://dev.gnupg.org/T4642 [2] https://dev.gnupg.org/T5432 "GPA development has been stopped ... switch to Kleopatra" -- `What a good friend you are to him, Dr. Maturin.
