There seem to be some addresses that never come up even though they are in My Contacts, and others that insist on coming up again and again despite being scrubbed from my contacts lists. The other two things you can do are: 1) Click in the space after To: or Cc: in the header at the top of a message you are composing, and start typing a name or address. 2) Click directly on the *To:* or *Cc:*, which brings up a menu letting you search for names and addresses.
