Hi Colette

You will see the Gmail (word) on the top of the left hand pane (just above
the "Compose button"), click on the Gmail button and it will drop down to
show "Gmail/Contacts/Task" click on contacts and you can manage your
contacts from there.
In there you will find an option to delete (usually the ellipsis, three
dots..., on the right hand side).
