Marko - By now you may have seen my last couple of posts to this thread. I'm okay now. Until the past week or two I could click on "embed image" and immediately get the option to upload from my computer. My mistake was in thinking that the new (to me) Upload button was requiring me to upload to Drive, so I wasn't willing to try it. But although it takes a few more clicks, the "new" (to me) way works perfectly well.
