There's a ridiculously fussy way I would like to handle two different email addresses that I use with the same Gmail account. My official work address takes the form of [email protected], and my employer has given me the alias of [email protected]. I've set it up so that my work email is redirected to Gmail. So here's what I would like to set up if possible:
- All of my work email comes in as if addressed to [email protected]. There's really nothing I can do about that on the employer end. I'd like Gmail to set the reply address automatically to [email protected] so that I don't have to think about it or do it by hand. - But I don't want to change the settings so that all of my outgoing mail is from [email protected], because then I would have to remember to change personal mail to [email protected]. Is this possible? I know I could do this if I used two separate Gmail accounts, but I don't want to do that.
