I have a question that could I change my Gmail display account? > I don't know what you mean by "display account". There are two parts to what appears in the address of an email message. There is the actual address itself (the part that is "[email protected]"), and there is the optional part that comes just before it (yours is "Jie Liau"), sometimes called the "display name" or just "name" (and probably called several other things too). You can change either of these, but the actual address can not be changed much. To that, you can add or remove periods, or you can use "plus-addressing", but you can't change the actual letters in your account name. Go to Settings -> Accounts and Imports, look for "Send mail as", and click "Add another email address you own". Use that to add a different form of your Gmail address that has different periods, or plus-addressing. Then you can either make that alternative form of your address the default (click "make default"), or select it while composing new messages. However ... depending on the email program your recipient uses, they may sometimes see your original email address anyway. The changes you make above will affect the "From:" line of the email message, but the normally-hidden "Sender:" line holds your unchanged Google account name. Some programs (Microsoft Outlook is one of them) will use the address in the "Sender:" line anyway, by showing something like this (if I remember right): From: [email protected] (on behalf of [email protected]) There's nothing we can do about that. It happens because Microsoft doesn't follow the rules of the Internet. To change the display name, the part *before* the actual address, click "edit info" from the same area on the Settings > Accounts and Imports page. Your display name can be just about anything.
