Hello. It's been a while. Here's the situation. Bought a new notebook computer (Win8), which I will take with me when I'm not online and can't get WiFi. I have gone to the Chrome Store and launched the app, but an icon for it has not appeared on the Taskbar, which was there on the notebook computer this new new one is replacing (Win7). The icon was there, even when connected to the Internet, along with others such as Google Chrome, for easy access. On the new computer, I have found its icon, along with others, when I click on the colorful Apps icon at the extreme left of the top of every page and can access it from there if I wish to view it when connected to the Internet. Is this a Win8 v. Win7 difference? If not, how can I get the offline icon back to the Taskbar as before?
As always, I look forward to your helpful advice and suggestions. *~Diane* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Gmail-Users" group.
