I could hardly contain my joy today! After my Internet Explorer browser
auto-updated from IE10 to IE11, I couldn't load G-mail properly. All
manner of errors. Well today, I added *Google.com* <http://www.Google.com>to
my list of websites to be shown in IE11 Compatibility mode, and also
*un-checked* the "Use Microsoft Compatibility Lists" box.

What happened was amazing. GMAIL is now working exactly like it did back
when Google made *users* Priority #1. The maddeningly annoying Compose
and Reply hover-box is now back to a full big rectangle showing the
Subject: / TO: / CC:, etc.. fields. No more need to perform several tasks
just to compose a message and then pray that you didn't forget something
after sending it.

While I'm composing this message, I look above the composition window and
see all the formatting controls, topped by a row for attaching documents
and adding "CC" recipients, with a nice big SUBJECT box above that. What
a beautiful sight.

Anyway, thought I'd post this message as a tip for those of you (using
IE) who appreciated the User-Centered legacy Gmail format more than the
Gmail-Lite version that was rolled out earlier this year.

Happy Holidays!
