This sounds like a bug on gitlab.com. Your best course of action is to create an issue at https://gitlab.com/gitlab-com/support-forum/issues

Yet, for each project I get a 404 error after clicking the "Export project" button on the "Edit project" page. Is this only a temporary error? Is there anything I need to set up before being able to export a project? Any help on this would be highly appreciated as I need to move my gitlab.com projects to my own gitlab instance. Maybe there's also another way of doing this (including all issues, comments, users and so on)?
