I would like to know if there is any way to setup a sync (one direction
only) between a branch of a private repo with a public repository.
Example:
- Lets suppose I have a private repository (named 'private-repo') with two
branches ('secret-code' and 'publicly-released')
- Although the repo is private, I need 'publicly-released' branch to be
publicly accessible
- Is there any feature on GitLab that enables me to sync this single branch
from a private repo with a public repo (named 'public-repo')?
I saw Push to Remote Repository

feature was released (thats great!), but looks like it only pushes all
branches. Is there any way to accomplish 'single branch push'?
*PS.: I know I could have a second remote branch that points to this public
repository and that I could push only one branch to it. I just wonder if
there is an automatic solution to this 'sync' (time-based or push-based).*
