I guess that gitlab works fine for most people else that bug would have 
drawn much attention since December.

There is probably something special in my host that prevents the scrips to 
be launched properly.

But considering that gitlab has been working fine on that host for more 
than a year, and that no error message can be found in the logs, I do not 
have much options to try to fix it ...
