Hello, a long time ago we tried out GitLab in out developer-team. We gave it a try and set up a Turnkey-Linux appliance (GitLab 5.0.2). We just loved it and so long time past by...
But now we want to upgrade to a more maintainable version of GitLab, set up an Ubuntu 14.04 LTS and installed GitLabCE according to the installation insructions on "https://about.gitlab.com/gitlab-ce/". Everything went smooth... "BUT:" As I tried to import a Backup of the old Server (including user-info, ssh keys, groups, issues ans project-repos) the importer told me the version gap was to big. Importing the bare repos is no problem, but is there a way to at least import the issues manually?
