Hi,

I'm using a Digitalocean droplet to run Gitlab (6.9.2). And I have the
Ubuntu 13.10 in it. I wanted to update Ubuntu to 14.

And I successfully updated Ubuntu by using "do-release-upgrade" command.
But after that, my Gitlab installation was broken.
I tried to reconfigure, but it gave me the error "gitlab-ctl: command not
found".
And also I figured there's no */etc/gitlab* folder. But there was
*/home/git/gitlab* folder.

So I tried to install Gitlab as a fresh copy using the method listed in the
how to install page on gitlab.com. But it generated a whole new Gitlab with
a new database.
All the data was gone.

Can anyone help me to know how to update Ubuntu and keep my Gitlab
installation working with current data?

Many thanks,
Praboda.
